How much payload do you have left?

A 3,500 kg van with a 2,100 kg kerb weight leaves 1,400 kg, and that goes faster than people expect. Tick what you bring and see what is left. You do not have to buy anything for this.

Found on your registration document. Enter your own values — they vary per trim and model year, sometimes by 200 kg.

Frequently asked

How much does a complete camper interior weigh?
Our layouts weigh between 113 and 328 kg, depending on what is in them and which front colour you pick. Wood veneer is 3 mm thicker than lacquered and makes a noticeable difference across a wall of cupboards. Insulation, walls and flooring come on top: count on 90 kg extra.
What do people most often forget to count?
Insulation, wall lining and flooring. Easily 90 kg together, and it never appears on a single invoice because you buy it in separate rolls and sheets. Then the full water tank: a hundred litres is a hundred kilos, and you only notice on the weighbridge.
What happens if I exceed the permitted mass?
You are not insured in the event of damage, you risk a fine, and your braking distance grows while your suspension and tyres are not rated for it. It is the only mistake in this whole project you cannot fix later without ripping things out.
