Which van should I buy?

The fit matrix answers whether a layout fits your van. If you do not have a van yet, you are asking the opposite question — and you are the luckiest buyer there is, because you can still choose what fits. Pick the layout you want and see which vans allow it, from short to long.

Buy the shortest van your layout fits in with room to spare, not the longest you can afford. Every extra metre costs you parking, fuel and manoeuvrability, and only pays off if you actually fill that space. The right-hand column shows how many other layouts that van allows: that is your room to change your mind in three years.
